Description

VR Troopers was a video game developed by Syrox Developments and published by Sega in 1995 for the Game Gear system. The game was based on the television series of the same name, which in turn was inspired by the popular Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. This fighting game allowed players to choose one of the three main characters from the show, each with unique moves, to combat a variety of enemies in a bid to thwart Grimlord’s plans. The game embraced the side-scrolling beat’em up genre, taking advantage of the Game Gear’s color display and portable nature.
