Surround, also known as ’41 Surround’, is one of the earliest video games created for the Atari 2600 console, released in 1977. A classic example of the ‘snake’ genre, players maneuver a constantly moving line that leaves a trail behind it. The objective is to outlast your opponent by strategically moving your line to trap them within your trail without colliding into the walls or your own tail.
