The game was one of the later titles released for the Atari 2600 and was developed by Absolute Entertainment. Known for its signature top-down view during infield play and side view for batting and outfield action, Pete Rose Baseball offered one or two-player modes and featured both pitching and fielding gameplay mechanics.
