Description

Lode Runner is an action-puzzle game developed and published by Broderbund for the Nintendo NES. In the game, the player controls a small figure that can dig holes in bricks to trap guards and collect gold chests. Comprising of 150 single-screen levels, the objective is to collect all the treasures while avoiding pursuing enemies, who can be dodged, trapped, and confined in order to be outsmarted. In addition to the game’s original 150 levels, it includes an innovative level editor tool, allowing players to create their own levels and expand gameplay.
