Bases Loaded 4 is a vintage sports video game released in 1993 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Developed by Jaleco, it’s the fourth and final installment of the popular Bases Loaded series. This baseball simulator manages to capture the excitement and competition of the classic American sport. Players can customize lineups, control the batting, run the bases, and choose pitch styles. Visual enhancements were made to this installment, with player sprites being much more detailed. A major gameplay change allows the screen to scroll up and down the pitch rather than side-to-side. This final installment marked the end of the NES series on a high note, delivering an enjoyable and immersive baseball experience.
