Description
Quarth is a unique hybrid puzzle-shooter game for the Nintendo Game Boy, released in the early 1990s. The game blends elements of block-dropping puzzles, like Tetris, with classic shoot ’em up gameplay. Players control a small spaceship at the bottom of the screen, tasked with shooting blocks to create complete rectangles or squares, which then disappear. The objective is to prevent the advancing blocks from reaching the bottom of the play area. Quarth is often categorized under the puzzle genre, with a twist of action, due to its combination of strategic block manipulation and real-time shooting.
